Day 1 Arrive; morning in Casablanca, overnight in Fes
Welcome to Morocco! with North Moroccan Cities 4 Days you will explore the modern seaside city of Casablanca. The main attraction of Casablanca is the relatively modern and monumental Hassan II Mosque. It was completed in 1993 and sits on an outcrop that extends into the Atlantic Ocean and offers magnificent views. It has a minaret measuring 210 meters-the tallest building in Morocco and the tallest minaret in the world. The unique feature of this mosque is that it is one of the few mosques in the country that allows non-Muslims to enter. Take a guided tour and admire exquisite examples of Moroccan and Islamic craftsmanship.
From there, continue east to the huge imperial city of Fez (Meknes, Rabat and Marrakech are other cities). Before entering the UNESCO-protected the Old Town, climb the hill to the Tomb of Merenid, enjoy the panoramic view of the city and determine your direction. It is best to visit the mausoleum at nightfall, because the city lights start to come on and the call of the muezzin resounds through the valley. Return to the Medina and your accommodation, a traditional riad inside Medina (Old Town).

Day 2: Fes: Exploring the Imperial City and Old Medina
Continuing the second day in North Moroccan Cities 4 Days to discover Fes, Fes is the oldest of the North Moroccan Cities in Morocco you can visit in our 4 Days Morocco tour packages and is considered to have the most complete Medina (Old Town) in the Moroccan Arabic world.
The chaotic streets of Fes have been relatively unaffected since it was founded more than 1,000 years ago, allowing you to experience life in medieval Morocco. Generally regarded as the cultural capital of the country, it consists of three parts, two Medina areas, Fes el Bali and Fes el Jdid, and the more modern Ville Nouvelle influenced by French colonization. As you explore the winding streets of the Medina, meet your guide for a half-day tour to learn about the rich history and culture.
Start at Fes el Bali at the Bab Boujeloud blue gate and enter the main road of Talâa Kebira. When you pass shops and open-air markets , pay attention to the buildings influenced by Spain. Visit the Chouara tannery and wonder at the many stone pots full of dyes and people who are still working with centuries-old technology. Next, before heading to Mellah (Old Jewish Quarter and Cemetery) in Fes el Jdid, admire the intricate ceramic tiles of the 14th century Al Attarine Madrasa (School). If you have time, you can visit the new city and explore the great changes in architecture.

Day 3: Fes to Meknes, Volubilis, and Chefchaouen
Leave Fes and head to Meknes to explore Imperial City. Wander through the gardens and palaces, the impressive Bab Mansour Gate and Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Visit the nearby Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a huge complex of buildings worth exploring. wonder at the commercial houses, temples and colorful mosaics, including the employment of Hercules. Arrived in Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains. Known for the blue buildings of its historic medina, explore its maze of narrow parts and alleys that cling to the northern slopes.
Chefchaouen has been almost untouched since the 15th century, and it has some of the friendliest people in the country, creating a relaxed atmosphere. Explore the main square, Outa el–Hammam, and enjoy a meal in a nearby restaurant or coffee. For those who prefer sports, you can hike up the hill to reach the blue city wall, and then follow the path to the luxury Atlas Hotel. Enter the roof and enjoy the expansive view of the Blue City. At the end of the day, walk east of the city and board the path leading to the White Spanish Mosque. Its location is a good place to watch the sunset behind the mountains.

Day 4: Chefchaouen to Rabat and Casablanca
Before returning south to Casablanca, get up early to take pictures of the uninhabited streets. Along the way, stop in the imperial city of Rabat and today’s capital. Explore the fortifications of the Chellah Cemetery in the center of the city and stroll through its ruins. Enter the old town center of Rabat through the gate of Kasbah des Oudaias. From there, visit the Andalusian gardens of the 20th century and enjoy a peaceful space away from the crowds. Explore the Hassan Tower, which is the incomplete mosque and the minaret of the Mausoleum of Mohammed V.
Return to Casablanca. Depending on your departure details, you may wish to stroll along Boulevard de la Corniche and have a bite to eat at Rick’s Café, a bar, restaurant and cafe redesigned to reflect the popular movie classic Casablanca, and end our North Moroccan Cities 4 Days with Morocco packages company.
